The JP LIGHT S-Chair Single Pedal is only 36 lbs. and is made of Imported Birch. This chair is made for the Classic Pilates student and teacher. The spring tension is extremely important when choosing a chair; our research has produced spring tension for Classic and Traditional use. This chair has two extra heavy springs designed for equal pre-tension and extended tensions. The springs are adjustable to six different tensions. The pedal is slightly longer than the standard chair allowing for versatility.

Our JP LIGHT S- Chair comes standard with Single Pedal. The S-Chair is 30" long, 20" wide and 24" high. The seat 15" x 20", and comes standard as follows:

  • Frame sides and base are made of Imported Birch
  • Two Heavy springs w/ 6 position adjustment. (Allows for adjustment for all Classic Chair exercises at all levels).
  • 6 each easy off, quick change spring tension adjustment
  • 18" X 22.5" foot pedal
  • 16" X 21" seat pad with one inch medium foam

Use and Maintenance

Teague Pilates Equipment is designed for the Classic Pilates method. It is recommended that it be used for the Classic Pilates method of exercise and that anyone using the equipment be supervised by a qualified Pilates Teacher. Improper use of the equipment can cause serious injury. It is the owner’s responsibility to keep this equipment in safe working condition and to make sure that anyone using the equipment has been properly trained to do so. The warranty of this equipment is only good for the original owner. The owner of this equipment is responsible for unsupervised use which results in injury regardless of transferred ownership or equipment location.
